World's Lonest Tongue In America

Adrianne Lewis hopes to be crowned a Guinness World Record breaker

The world's current longest tongue is just 3.9 inches long

Lizards must be trembling in their boots as an 18-year-old who claims to have the longest tongue in the world is encroaching on their territory.

Adrianne Lewis, from Michigan, says her tongue is an unbelievable four inches long, giving her the unique ability to not only lick her nose, chin and elbow but also - shockingly - her eye.

She is currently in talks with Guinness World Records and waiting to see find out if she has defeated the current record holder Nick Stoeberl, whose tongue reaches just 3.9 inches.

Adrianne said: 'I feel as though I may have inherited it but I think with time and me sticking out my tongue a lot as a kid could have stretched it.

'My mum, grandmother and my great grandfather all had very long tongues.
